Advanced Open Water Course

Exploration, Excitement, Experiences That’s what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. You don’t have to be “advanced” to do it – it’s designed to advance your diving, so you can start immediately once you’ve achieved your PADI Open Water Diver certification. The course helps you build confidence and expand your diving skills through different Adventure Dives. Try different specialties while gaining experience under the supervision of your PADI Instructor.

You log dives and develop skills while finding new ways to have fun diving. Get experience! Each Adventure Dive can serve as credit towards the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver Course. If you have already taken a dive specialty course, ask your instructor if you have earned credit for an Adventure Dive. Who should take this course? PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers who are at least 12 years of age are ready to take the plunge and enrol in an Advanced Open Water Diver course. Young divers can only participate in selected Adventure Dives – Ask your PADI Instructor. If you are already an Adventure Diver, you only need to complete two more Adventure Dives to earn the Advanced Open Water Diver certification. You will plan your learning schedule with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two compulsory dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you will choose the other three for a total of five dives.
